AMELIA MICHAEL

I'm currently a research fellow at the Center for Technology & Statecraft, where I research frontier robotics policy. I'm also a non-resident fellow at the Foundation for American Innovation. Before this, I was a research scholar at GovAI, where I researched compute, data centers, and robotics (I'm now an adjunct fellow with GovAI). Eearlier, I was a research assistant at the White House Council of Economic Advisers. I also worked at the MIT FutureTech lab.

I mostly work on robotics, but sometimes research data centers, compute, and the economics of transformative AI. I have a Substack where I write about some of these things.

I graduated from Brown with a degree in economics in May 2024.
